I don’t know if it’s the way my face is shaped, or the way I hold the phone, or what the problem is, but unless I am super careful and don’t move when I’m talking on it, I will inevitably hang up on whoever I’m talking to. It’s not so bad when I’m talking to say, a telemarketer, but when I’m on a business call, that can be disastrous. It’s gotten so bad that I avoid making or taking phone calls if at all possible.
I used to have 700 minutes on my phone and it was all I could do to stretch them through the month. Now, I’m surprised if I use 200 minutes in a month. It’s really that bad. And maybe it’s just my luck, but I’ve tried several wired and Bluetooth headsets, but none seem to work. Maybe it’s just my particular Droid.
Anyway, I had to set up a separate line for my business, even though I don’t need to talk on the phone much, just so I could feel comfortable talking again. That phone is the most basic LG flip phone possible, and I love talking on it.
Am I the only one whose talking habits have changed drastically after getting a Droid? While I’m glad I’m not tied to the phone all day, I do wish I could make a call without wondering when it will hang up on someone.
